Okay, finally, i'm updating the blog. Sorry for the inactivity, been busy with stuff, well, lazy actualy. haha..Anyway, we were invited to perform at Sunlit's Christmas party or was it their annual party, not sure.. We danced to Apologize by One Republic and then straight away to Take it to the floor by B2K. Before i post the performance video i wanna tell the story of how we started the Apologize routine.Early december, i was in kuching for RYLA which stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, kinda like a youth camp. There the 35 participants were split into 5 group of 7, on the last night each group had to come up with a performance, so my group's performance was themed around the song Apologize and the phrase "its too late to apologize". So i came up with a simple routine that my team members can learn without much trouble, i tink u can call my routine 'lyrical hip hop'. We did a some acting then followed by the dance and ended the performance with a little more acting. Surprisingly, my group got first between the 5 groups. Here's the video:
When i get back, one of my friends from Kuching told me that he was gonna a hold a Christmas and New Year party wanted a message from the 4 Bruneians that went for the camp, so i decided to make a video for them. I asked the crew for a favour which is to do a routine with the Apologize song so that it can be put into the video. We took my initial routine and everyone added bits and pieces to it to get this end product.
And finally, for the performance, Afiq was on holiday which left the four of us, changes were made to the routine and more stuff added so that it doesnt end in the middle of the verse. Nothing changed for the B2k routine.
